Heart of Sharjah
Sharjah has the most authentic and well preserved historic district in the UAE complete with walls made of coral, ancient doors and courtyards and traditional methods of construction. Over time, new businesses and buildings were realized but began to fragment the neighbourhood. Our role was to develop the physical connectivity between places and build a new urban fabric that would unite the area into one interconnected retail/commercial zone. We also analyzed the existing retail shops and provide design guidelines on how to cost effectively enhance their signage, visual merchandizing and overall shopfront design.
